How can I get my finances under control?
What is the purpose of my life?
What happens when I die?
Who do I meditate to?
When I speak of noble things, who grant me the wisdom of thoughts?
Does that being have the understanding, power and authority to grant it to me, etc...???
These are just few questions about life we don't normally ask by other religions. And most of the time being ignored and tossed over to something else in many religions today.
We all have questions. From the simplest everyday situations to the most daunting decisions, we are all searching for answers. For all of life's questions, there is "the answer."
As part of my occupation in educating students in Elementary schools, I have experienced and even witnessed many children do have diversified talents/gifts in their own unique ways.
One day I saw a small boy in his fifth grade scrawling wildly on a sheet of paper. "What are you doing?" I asked. I'm drawing a picture of God."
"You can't do that, because nobody knows what God really looks like."
"They will when I'm finished!" the boy confidently replied.
As funny as this story may be, many of us have based our life beliefs on foundations no more solid than the young boy's drawing. It is no surprise that life's difficulties expose the lack of meaning in our lives and the inadequacy of our sources for desperately seeking for answers to the questions of our hearts. So many religions in this world continuously searching everything possible in their own ideas, knowledge, mix with all sort of philosophies and pedological aspects in this physical world that vaguely appear before their little brains. So does God's Word says: "your secular knowledge striving to find answers is like a bucket of water sits in the bottom of the entire ocean. The ocean which compares to His almighty wisdom." And yet has not revealed, unless one would reveal himself to Him. Only then, the eye of the heart shall see the truths.
Let's face it, we all have questions in life. When you lay your head down on the pillow at night, what are the questions that you ask? When you're alone in the dark, do you find life's really hard questions running through your mind? Why am I here? Where have I come from, and where am I going? What is one significant purpose in life that drives me this far? Is there a God?, and if so, what is He like? Can I know God personally? Is there a source of ultimate truth for me to live by?
And many of those questions relate to our faith and our own search for truth. For instance, who has not asked the questions, "Why does God allow unthinkable acts of terrorism?" Or, "when my world seems to be falling apart around me, who can I trust?" Or, "what do I do with my insecurity feeling and fears?"
Throughout our lives, we all face a litany of questions that trouble our souls for answers grounded in the truth. Can I mend a broken relationship? How far is too far when I'm dating? How can I cope with disappointment? Will my marriage survive hard time? Can I be forgiven for my own sins? How do I nourish my child's heart when troubles arise? What is prayer? Is death really the end or continue to be with God? A God that I trust right now, does he truly love me for what/who I am? What do I do with my spiritual doubts? Who do we meditate to? These are some of the questions we don't normally asked.
So where do we find the answers? Must we end our days with same questions staring at us in the face? Can our questions be answered, and can we find the peace we are seeking. Are we satisfied what we have or what we already believe?
The answer that with a resounding, "Yes!" In my hand I hold "The Answer, and inside its pages I will discover the real answer - God's Living Word, as found in the Bible. And, it speaks directly you and me when we seek HIM. This is our daily source...the source of all things we find. The Bible is the most important book and the single most popular book ever written by God's prophets, and it is inspired to the heart of readers. Within its pages God speaks with divine instruction to multiply generations of people who faced the same life issues and questions that you face today. He reveals Himself through His Word and presents the record of what is called "the faith," that body of absolute truth that provides the only reliable answers to all of life's ultimate questions and yet, there hasn't been life's contradiction to the scriptures. It dares tackle those questions honestly and openly and offers counsel for our problems, comfort for our sorrows, guidance for our mid confusion, inspiration for our needs, hope for the despair and soothe to the soul.
Inspirational yours,
Pery
