Our site used Adsense of Google to generate some small revenue for our operation. We generate a few bucks a day, to be exact. However, the ads contents are some what mixed and not appropriate for our community. We have filtered so many ads, but more ads keep on appearing due to the automated ads base on contents. Dating sites, occults and so on keep on appearing on our ad units.
Recently we have shut down our ads. As you see, there are blank pages in our ad unit.
This, of cause, we lose money. We weigh heavily on our principle. The question is, how do we run operation? Well, we have put some fund ourselves into it. We see it as a ministry. If any one or churches who wish to help our operation with your small token, feel free to help us out. Donation link is provided in the upper page. If we have 10 or 15 people donate $5 or $10 a year….this will help cover the hosting fee. My church and I put a few hundred every year. Keep in mind that this support should be out of free will, there is no pressure to use this site. We continue to provide free access and free space for all members. The Lord has blessed us this far and our team are so happy to see people enjoy our faith base networks and resources. As a team leader, I will continue to volunteer my time a few hours a week, to further develop this site. Many resources will be added. Rev. Chhon Kong, through the Bible and TranWorld radio, have been given us their entire radio programs to be added in our internet radio. I will start this project soon. This program is broadcasting daily through TranWorld radio in Cambodia. We will be able to hear them too.
More traffic usages are on the demand. With our rich media such as sermons, songs, photos and video, free spaces and so on, there are about 20g traffic passing through every month.
We have petitioned FaithAdnet, a Christian ad organization to accept us as one of their publishers ( http://www.faithadnet.com ). Hopefully, they allow us. This will not generate fund like adsense of Google, maybe just some cents per day....but it's consistent with our principle.
Bless,
