Blog Entry: Qoute: God planned for life to be imparted to his people through the spoken blessing. The Old Testament fathers expected the blessing to release God's favor into their lives and the lives of their families. That same expectation can rest in the hearts of all who accept the challenge to learn the biblical way to bless.    End qoute How much better it would have been if each one of us were grown up with a blessing  spoken over us instead of a curse. Maybe in your case, your parents did bless you. I'm writing this blog in hope that all of you parents out there would consider  cutting  the curse and replacing it with a blessing . Creator God Blessed His Creation We read in the book of Genesis that Creator God blessed everthing thing that he had made. After the flood, again, he blessed Noah and his sons to multiply and be fruitful as well as all the animals that came out the ark with them. Death And Life Is In The Power Of The Tongue As I was growing up in the home of my cousin and her husband, I heard the curses that were spoken to their first born son. At the time I was ignorant of how a spoken word can have an affect on a person. But now I realized how that boy is not doing very well in life after 30 yrs later. Can't blame the parents, because they didn't know any better. I'm sure that I was cursed by them too. We gentiles believers need to step inside of a Jewish home and learn from them what we have been ignoring concerning this matter of blessing the children. Each Shabbat the children are blessed by their father. It is commanded of them them to do so, how much more shouldn't we gentile believers incorparate this command to bless our children if we want them to find favor before God and man? But the good news is you don't have to step foot into a Jewish home to able to learn how to bless your children. I will give you information how to get material concerning this topic. If you can strike up a friendship with an obervant Jew at where you live and be willing to learn from them about this matter and other topics, I encourage you to do so. Remember, the oracles of God was first given unto them and they have something to teach us that we don't know about in the Bible. I understand their resistance to Yeshua. Don't push that on them unless you can reason with them from the Torah point of view. They are still God's beloved even though they do err from the  truth. I encourage all congregation leaders to get hold of this teaching and teach them to their congregations. I won't guarantee that when the blessing is apply that all the problems with your children will disolved like ice. Obey and see the result later. I heard some powerful testomonies when we choose to bless a soul is departed from hell beneath. Aronic Blessing Aron was commanded to bless the children of Israel by putting  God's name on them. This still take place every Shabbat at Jewish Synagouges and Messianic Synagouges. The person pronouncing the blessing will form a Hebrew letter 'schin' with his fingers and point them toward the cogregation as he sings the blessing over them. If you want to know what a letter 'schin' look like, go to Psalm 119 in the King James Version and find the letter 'schin' at verse 161. It is credited that the Jewish children are more successful people in general. Why? Because of the spoken blessing over them by the father and the Aronic blessing. Here Are Examples To the sons the father will bless them in this manner:  "May the LORD make you like Ephraim and Manasah..." To the daughters the father will bless them in this manner:  "May the LORD make you like the house of Rachel and Leah who build up the tribes of Israel..."  Of course add you wish list in addition to what is given here. Noticed how the younger is mentioned first in the blessing. Ephraim is before Manasah and Rachel is before Leah. Why is it?  This is a reversed order according to the Torah (instructions) of how the first born is to be bless first.  I can tell you this much; it has to do with redemptive plan of God. Yeshua Blessing The Children When Yeshua blessed the little children that were brought unto him, what do you suppose that he said?  The text doesn't tell us, but since his delight was in the law of the LORD, I think I know what he has said to those little ones. And when he was ascending up to heaven he lifted up his hands and bless them (disciples) as he vanished from their sights.  Again, the text doesn't tell us what was spoken over them as he ascended upward.  But I have a very good idea from the Torah instruction what blessing was pronounced upon them.  I'm I leaving you with cliff hanging? I already covered in this article. You just need to connect the dots. Parents, do you want your children to grow up to be mighty men and women of God in the spirit?  Start imparting the blessings of life upon them now.  There are curses put upon them by other people, start breaking them curses now.  Word  is Power!
