Title: Why Islamic Fundamentalists Hate America

Blog Entry: From the Ayatollah's takeover until the September 11th terrorist attacks on American's soil was only a matter of time.  The warning signs were all there but no one took them seriously. The first serious warning was when Khomeini branded the U.S. "the Great Satan."  Devout Muslims see America as the greatest threat to their religion.  We're called "the Great Satan" b/c they view our western culture as the greatest threat to Islam, which is tightly woven together with the 7th Century Arabian culture in which it was born. The concept of democracy does not exist in Islam.  Their concept of government is based on the Bedouin tribal order in which there is a strong dictator.  Islam believes in a Theocracy administered under Koranic (Quranic) law by a chief or sheik. One example I can think of is how different Islamic culture is to that of the West is the status of women.  There is no freedom for women as you know.  They are first the property of their fathers and then their husbands.  One of the most detestable things to a Muslim man is the western Women's Liberation Movement.  There are very few more abhorrent sights in the Muslim world than to see U.S. women soldiers driving vehicles.  Women are not allowed to drive over there, much less be soldiers!  In fact, they are not even allowed out of the house without approved chaperons. The Rise of Muslim Terrorism Increasing   When I shared my thoughts sometime ago in the CC.com forum in which I said, "with the fall of the Soviet Union, Islamic Fundamentalism has now become the greatest threat to the world peace." Every generation has had a revival of Muslim Fundamentalislm, but not on the present scale we see today.  With the 1.3 billion estimated Muslims in today's world, there is a whole new dimension of danger for all.  Of course, the Fundamentalists pose the greatest threat. Watching the Wahhabism Ignites By staying tuned with the world's news, as of now, the revival that started in Iran has spread to at least 15% of the world's Muslims.  In fact, the revival that started with Iran's Shi'ite sect of Islam has ignited a revival among the Saudi Arabian Wahhabism sect of the Sunni denomination.  About 85% of all Muslims are Sunnis, so this was an even more dangerous expansion.  This means that there are now more than 200 million Muslims who are potential terrorists.  They have intimidated many more "moderate Muslims" (the quiet backbone supporter mentality) in America or elsewhere into supporting them.  But what really ignited the Wahhabi sect are the following little known facts. A Calculated Risk that Backfired I'm so sorry to say about our president Obama's agenda since he took office; it's amazingly more transparent in my opinion, his flaw determination, the U.S. made another grave error that helped create the enormous Muslim terrorist threat we have today.  This may prove to be the worst mistake of all in contributing to the worldwide threat posted by the Al Qaeda organization.  I believe the Obama's administration will do nothing to stop it.  B/C of his lack of experience in negotiating world's peace in the Middle East, America will fall into the prophecy as predicted.
