Blog Entry: Suffering in Faith or in Life: I would encourage everyone who is going through suffering or life challenges, to keep on trusting God. We need to acknowledge that we are living in the world of evil, and suffering is part of the Christian's heritage. (This past August, my 10 year old son got hit by a car, and my family is in a big mess-- recovery, bill, and therapy and so on—the driver has no license and was using a relative car. This is part of life on earth. I was so depressing for weeks, but the Lord indeed, revised my soul). Keep in mind that the only time a teacher is silent is when students are taking tests. If you passed you will go to the next level. Sometimes, we may feel that God is kind of silent on us. We are in the battle too, fighting not just against the flesh, but against the power of the evil one. If we are totally in the comfort zone, then we must be spiritually dead. It’s also means Satan has left us, allowing us to rotten spiritually—there is no need for him to fight. Also, we need to be encouraged that the Lord is with us and the battle belongs to Him. We just need to stand with him, who is the winner. 1 Peter 4:12 NIV [Suffering for Being a Christian] Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
