Blog Entry: By putting these things together, we can say that the last days extend from the birth of Jesus until His 2nd Coming at the end of the Tribulation. The last days will be dangerous and difficult times. "But know this firsthand, that in the last days perilous times will come" (2 Timothy 3:1). Believers will be persecuted and hated: "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for MY Name sake" (Matt. 24:9). Knowledge will increase. "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge sahll increase" (Daniel 12:4). The condition of mankinds is described in the following verses are: 2 Timothy 3:13 --"But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving many and being deceived." 2 Tim. 3:1-4.... says, lovers of themselves than others; lovers of money; boasters...they exaggerate their accomplisments to impress men; proud...haughty, arrogant; blasphamous...they speak abusively, slanderously; disobedient to parents greatly; unthankful; unholy...wicked will likely increase; unloving...without family affection, they lack love for their families; unforgiving...irreconcilable; slanderers...they promote quarrels, hoping to gain from them; lack of self-control; brutal attack; despisers of anything that good and praise the evil doers and call it good; traitors...whether to a country, an oath, or someone in danger; headstrong...hasty, reckless; lovers of world pleasure rather than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying its power...etc. Many within the church today will depart, giving in heed to deceiving spirits of and demons of this world. "Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons" (1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Peter 2:2). Men will exploit others and inappropriately enrich themselves in the last days. "Your [referring to "the rich"] gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth" (James 5:3, 4). By this time we shall see the rapture. God bless.
